His decades-long career as an educator and student media advisor in public high schools earned him the prestigious National Broadcast Teacher of the Year Award in 2017, as well as multiple scholastic Emmys. He is also the executive producer and host of the Falling Out LGBTQ podcast, which addresses LGBTQ mental health and resilience.
Currently, Brian provides counseling to adolescents, adults, and couples in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, continuing his mission to support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.
