DR MANN HANSON

DR Mann Hanson – A graduate of San Francisco State University (Summa Cum Laude, BA in Theatre), DR has used his acting training to entertain on various stages in San Francisco, New York City, and Dallas. He still dabbles onstage but spends most of his time leading the HR initiatives at Common Ground Games, Dallas’ premier Board Game Store which he opened with his husband, Jamison Sacks, in 2013.

Never to be satisfied, DR founded a monthly LGBTQ Film Series called CinéWilde, a year later which is currently celebrating 10 years of programming that Educates, Entertains, and Engages Dallas every month.  A love for people has guided him throughout these entrepreneurial endeavors while his experience working for two of the largest non-profit theatres in North Texas (WaterTower Theatre & Dallas Theatre Center) has poised him perfectly to evolve CinéWidle from a community organization to a Non-Profit.

DR is excited to share how his unique approach to leading people has grown Common Ground Games from a Pop & Pop Store to employing over 15 people and how his advocacy for his LGBTQ Family inspires CinéWilde and other LGBTQ Community Events each year.
