LAMECIA BUTLER

LaMecia Butler (she/her)  is a Program Manager for Meta Global Supplier Diversity whose mission is to help diverse-owned businesses do business with Meta and with the people and communities it connects. She manages the team’s global partnership, marketing and supplier engagement efforts. Prior to Meta, she worked as the Director of the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund and held separate community relations roles for Super Bowl 50 in the San Francisco Bay Area and Super Bowl LI in Houston. She has worked in the nonprofit, business and entertainment industries, including serving as a publicist in the entertainment industry. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (emphasis Marketing) from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication (emphasis in Public Relations) from the University of Texas at San Antonio. LaMecia loves using her knowledge and platform to inspire and develop the talents of youth of color.
